worship ministry

The Worship Ministry at Parkade exists to support the overall ministry of our church by leading others to worship our great Savior. In Psalm 150:6, the Bible says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” So, for those of us who are breathing, God calls us to praise Him. We do this in a variety of ways at Parkade Baptist Church. We begin with our children and continue through adults to train Christians in vocal music, drama, audio/video technologies, and other arts. Then we teach them how to use these art forms to worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Come worship with us!

Worship Choir

This team rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 and regularly leads in our Sunday morning worship service at 10:30. More than just a choir, we are a family. No auditions necessary, just bring a commitment to our team and a heart for worship!

Praise Team

This team rehearses each Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:15 and is part of a rotation that helps lead in our Sunday morning worship. Praise Team vocalists must be willing to lead in a variety of worship songs and participate on a rotational basis. Auditions are required by emailing the Parkade Music Office.

Worship orchestra

This team also rehearses each Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 6:15 and regularly leads in our Sunday morning worship service at 10:30. The Orchestra is open to adults and students with at least 2 years of experience playing their instruments. For more information about joining the Worship Orchestra, please email the Parkade Music Office.

Children's choir

Our children rehearse seasonally for special musical selections to be used in our Sunday morning worship service. Lead by our Children’s Ministry Director, Elizabeth Cook and Elizabeth Brinegar, the children rehearse praise & worship songs and short musicals that tell about God’ great love for us.
