FAQ's

Where do I park on Sundays? We have ample parking around the building. The main entrance is located on the south parking lot under the overhang. We do have several parking spots reserved for guest.

Where do I go? Our greeters are located at our main entrances to the building and are available to assist you in finding where you need to go. Please visit our Welcome Desk in the Welcome Center if you need assistance.

What should I wear? Dress comfortably.  We're more concerned with meeting your needs than focusing on what you wear.  While some people do choose to wear their "Sunday best", most people wear casual clothing.

What do I need to bring? Bring yourself!  A Bible will help you follow along in both Bible Study and worship.  If you have a Bible, bring it with you.  If you don't have a Bible, copies of the New International Version Bible are located in the sanctuary pews and are free for you to keep. Bibles are also in the Bible Study classrooms for your use. We do have WiFi available for tablets if you are using that for your Bible.

When do I need to arrive? Bible Study groups meet at 9:15 Sunday morning service begins at 10:30 a.m.  Please feel free to come early to the start times to allow  time for parking and getting to the Bible Study group or Sanctuary for Worship.  We do provide Coffee & Hot Tea each Sunday Morning.  Please stop by and get yourself a cup.

Is the church handicap accessible? Yes.  There is reserved parking on all sides of the building.  We also have an elevator available in our Welcome Center that goes to our Fellowship Hall and Children's Ministry areas. Should you need assistance, please drive to the circle drive canopy and a greeter will assist you with your needs.

Are Deaf services available? We are happy to provide a team of people who interpret our Worship service for the Deaf using American Sign Language by request. We also have a Talking Hands Bible Study group that begins at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

Where do my children go? Workers will be stationed throughout the morning just inside the Preschool/Children's entrance at the lower rear of the building to register your child and direct them to their classroom.  We offer preschool childcare from babies through 5th Grade, all located on the lower floor. Those with babies and toddlers are invited to use the reserved parking close to the Preschool/Children's entrance. Youth (Grades 6-12) meet in the north Youth Wing.  A greeter will direct you to the Youth Wing.  If you have children between the ages of Birth and 5th Grade, you may want to park in the lower lot which allows easier access our Children's Ministry area.

What are Worship services like? While none of our Worship services are exactly the same, we do offer a blended worship experience which may include hymns and choruses.  We want our Worship to be a gift to God where we that are involved come to a realization that He is our focus. Our Pastor, Chris Cook, and occasionally others from our staff, offer insightful messages, revealing the truths of the Bible to help prepare and challenge us in our daily walk. Past messages may be heard online here.

How are guests recognized? The last thing we want to do is single you out or put you on the spot.  It is up to you if you want to be recognized. Feel free to quietly slip in and out of service .  However, you will probably be greeted by someone in order for them to know you a bit better. If you are inclined to complete a "Connect with Parkade" card, you can put it in the box that looks like the church building out in the lobby and make sure to pick up a coffee mug as a gift from us. The personal information you provide us will not be shared with any other organizations.

Am I expected to give when I attend?

Any money collected during our service is an offering that our members and regular attenders give in appreciation to God for all of his blessings in their lives. We do not expect guests to give. Many give online, too, so it is not unusual to see people passing the offering plate during a service without placing anything in it.

Where are the offices?

The main office and staff offices are on the North Side of the building.  If you come to the church during the work week, please come to the north doors to be let in.  Our office hours are 8 am to Noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am to Noon on Fridays.
